Davey Murphy hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 10th inning to lead Kentucky Wesleyan College to a 7-6 win over Saint Joseph's College on Saturday in Rennselear, Ind.
The Pumas jumped out to a 5-0 lead before the Panthers scored on two RBIs from Scott Woodburn and Luis Mila in the fourth. SJC scored their sixth and final run in the fifth.
KWC scored two more in the seventh with RBIs from Luke Garmon and Ray Delvalle. Murphy hit his first home run with a two-run shot in the eighth to tie the score.
Mitch Kellum received the start and went eight innings before Murphy came into relief for the final two to earn his first win.
Murphy collected three hits and scored three runs in four at bats. Ben Farleigh, Garmon, Woodburn each posted two hits.
The Panthers (13-20, 7-17 Great Lakes Valley Conference) lost the second game 17-0. They will wrap-up the series on Sunday.
