The Panthers lost a Great Lakes Valley Conference doubleheader to Bellarmine in Louisville on Sunday.

In the first contest, Katy Kruse was two-for-three at the plate in the 9-0 loss. Ashlee Winstead produced eight strikeouts.

Meagan Sallee knocked in the Panthers only run in the 5-1 loss in the second game. Jackie Porter, Laura Helms and Hannah Cates each recorded hits.

Jordan Vertz went the distance recording four strikeouts.

KWC returns to action on Friday with a home doubleheader against Asbury at 3 p.m.
