Southern Indiana defeated Kentucky Wesleyan 3-1 and 8-7 in 10 innings to sweep a Great Lakes Valley Conference doubleheader in Evansville.

In the opener, KWC was limited to just two hits — a double by Meagan Sallee and a single by Traci Sanders.

In the nightcap, USI overcome a 6-3 deficit and won it in the 10th on an RBI single by Leah Collins.

Clarissa Smith drove in three runs for KWC, which fell to 15-24 overall and 6-16 in the GLVC.
