Kentucky Wesleyan dropped a Great Lakes Valley Conference softball doubleheader to Lewis on Monday at Romeoville, Ill.
The Panthers dropped the opener 7-2, despite getting two hits each from
Traci Sanders and
Katy Kruse. Sanders and
Kayla Meny had RBIs for KWC.
In the nightcap, Lewis pitcher Kate Habel blanked Wesleyan 7-0 on five hits.
Kruse,
Angie Camp, Sanders and
Meagan Sallee and Meny accounted for the Panthers' base hits.
The double-dip loss drops Kentucky Wesleyan to 13-22 overall and 6-14 in the GLVC, while league leading Lewis iimproves to 28-7, 17-1.
The Panthers host Oakland City today at 2 p.m.
