Golf team competes in final Midwest Regional tournament

Kentucky Wesleyan finished tied for 20th among 25 teams in the final Midwest Regional Tournament at Purgatory Golf Club in Indianapolis on Sunday and Monday.

Harrison Price led the Panthers with a two-day total of 155 including a team best 75 on Sunday followed by Patrick Hibbs with a 159 (79-80).

Mitch Faulk posted the low round on Monday with a 79 and tied with Hibbs with a 159. Richard Moore recorded a 164 and Zach Buckner carded with a 166.

Indianapolis won the title with a 582 and the Greyhounds Jacob Yocum also earned medalist honors with a 3-under 141.

KWC completes the 2010-11 season at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship on April 18-19 at Panther Creek Country Club in Springfield, Ill.
