Amanda Harnist finished with a game-high 27 points and a team-high five rebounds to lead Kentucky Wesleyan College to a 77-63 win in a Great Lakes Valley Conference women's basketball game on Saturday at Indianapolis.
Harnist, a 6-foot-1 senior from Cincinnati, connected on 12-of-15 field goals, including her only 3-pointer, and 2-of-3 free throws as the Panthers improved to 15-8 overall and 9-7 in the GLVC.
Harnist also led the team with three steals.
KWC hit 16-of-27 field goals in the first half to build a 40-34 lead over the Greyhounds (13-11, 8-8).
The Panthers finished 31-of-55 from the field (56 percent), including 7-of-12 on 3s (58 percent). They hit 8-of-10 free throws.
Indy was 19-of-45 from the field (42 percent), 1-of-13 on 3s (8 percent) and 24-of-31 from the free-throw line (77 percent).
Katie Lyons led the Greyhounds with 19 points.
Indy outrebounded the Panthers 29-25.
