KWC stops Lewis in GLVC matchup

Katie Behrens, Lauren Goffinet and T'Essence Phelps scored 12 points each to lead the Kentucky Wesleyan College women's basketball team defeated Lewis 75-59 on Saturday in a Great Lakes Valley Conference contest in Romeoville, Ill.

Phelps also grabbed seven boards for the Panthers (5-2, 2-0 GLVC). Behrens finished 3-for-3 from the field and went 5-for-6 at the free-throw line.

The Panthers shot 47.4 percent from the field and forced 23 turnovers.

Jamie Johnson led Lewis with 15 points.
