Kentucky Wesleyan College ran out to a double-digit lead in the first half and maintained it throughout for a 73-58 women's basketball win against North Alabama on Tuesday night at the Sportscenter.
The Panthers got 14 points each from
Kourtney Rhoads and
Katie Behrens. Rhoads was 5-for-5 from the field and 4-for-4 from 3-point range. Her twin,
Karly Rhoads, put up 10 points and passed for four assists.
KWC pushed its record to 3-1. The Panthers shot 48.3 percent from the floor (28-of-58) and was 9-of-20 from 3-point range for 45 percent.
Jasmine Horne led North Alabama with 19 points, hitting 8-of-11 shots from the floor.
Nichelle Fillmore scored 18 for North Alabama (3-2). North Alabama committed 22 turnovers.
