The No. 20 ranked Kentucky Wesleyan will play the Big Blue All-Stars, a group of former University of Kentucky players, in a scrimmage basketball contest on Sunday, Oct. 23 at the Owensboro Sportscenter. Tip-off will be 4 p.m. CT.
Tickets will go on sale Monday, Oct. 17, for KWC season ticket holders from noon to 7 p.m. in the Woodward Health and Recreation Center.
Any season tickets not picked up Monday will be sold to the general public. General public tickets go on sale Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 8 a.m.
Prices are $25 for chairbacks and $15 for bleachers.
The All-Star roster will consist of DeMarcus Cousins (Sacramento Kings), plus NBA draft choices Josh Harrellson (New Orleans Hornets); Brandon Knight (Detroit Pistons); DeAndre Liggins (Orlando Magic); Ravi Moss; plus Butler's Final Four guard Sheldon Mack (Washington Wizards) and the NCAA's all-time rebounder from Morehead State Keith Faried (Denver Nuggets). The roster could add a player or two.
Former Wildcat Jeff Sheppard will serve as the coach and former Apollo High School All-American and UK legend Rex Chapman will be the honorary coach for the All-Stars.
