Kentucky Wesleyan College overcame a nine-point deficit late in the first half and rolled in the second half to a 66-48 win at Illinois-Springfield on Saturday.

The Panthers got 19 points from Karly Rhoads, who hit 7-of-12 from the floor. Kristen Rowe added 11 points and Kailyn Mitchell pitched in 10 for KWC.

The Panthers improved to 9-5 overall, 3-4 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.

KWC made 24-of-54 from the field for 44.4 percent. The Panthers hit 13-of-14 free throws.

KWC travels to the University of Southern Indiana on Monday.
