Kristen Rowe poured in 22 points and grabbed seven rebounds as the Kentucky Wesleyan College women's basketball team defeated Wayne State 81-71 in overtime on Sunday in Owensboro.

The Panthers (2-0) outscored Wayne State 15-6 in overtime.

KWC put the game away early in the extra period as the Panthers went on a 10-2 run.

Wayne State's Deanna Crumpton hit a pair of free throws with 30 seconds left in regulation that tied the score at 66.

Kailyn Mitchell also had seven rebounds for KWC. Katie Behrens, along with Kourtney Rhoads finished with nine points for the Panthers.

KWC forced 25 turnovers and committed 21.

The Panthers host Asbury on Thursday at the Sportscenter at 5:15.
