Kentucky Wesleyan shutout host Oakland City for the second time with a 9-0 victory on Tuesday afternoon. The sweep was not easy for the Panthers.
Jayden Morrison downed 5-2 and two set points roared back to win 13 straight games and won 7-5 and 6-0 the No. 2 singles.
Tatum McMahon also fell behind 3-0 in the first set before forging ahead to win 6-3, 6-1 in No. 3 singles.
Maddy Bogle won No. 1 singles 6-0, 7-5, while Jamie Brown finished 6-2, 6-2. for No. 3 singles and Kendall Ganus won No. 5 singles with a 6-1, 6-1 score.
Bogle and Butcher combined to win No. 1 doubles, 8-6. Brown and Morrison captured No. 2 doubles with a 8-1. KWC won by default the No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles.
The Panthers improved to 6-0 and will end their fall portion of the season by hosting Berea at 1 p.m. on the KWC Tennis Courts.
