Kentucky Wesleyan defeated host and cross-town rival Brescia 3-1 on Tuesday night at the Campus Center. The Panthers fell in the first set, 25-27, before rallying to win three straight, 25-22, 25-18 and 27-25.
Emily Harpenau and
MaryBeth Ryan led the Panthers offensive effort with 18 and 15 kills respectfully. Harpenau also collected seven digs and a block assist. Ryan had one block and a block assist.
Jordan Rickert recorded 38 assists and produced five kills. two block assists and one ace.
Morgan Watson had a team-high eight digs plus added two aces.
Lindsay Wahler also added seven kills and seven digs plus one ace.
The Panthers (5-8) return to Great Lakes Valley Conference action by traveling to No. 20 Indianapolis on Friday and Saint Joseph's on Saturday.
