The Panthers cruised past the Mighty Oaks with an 8-1 verdict on Friday at the KWC Tennis Courts. Alicja Augustynska defeated Tabitha McKinney 6-0 and 6-0 in No. 1 singles while Jennifer Settle beat Clara Rexing 6-0, 6-0 in No. 2 singles.
Maddy Bogle defeated Lindsay Malin 6-1, 6-1 in No. 3 singles and Jamie Brown won the No. 4 singles with 6-1, 6-1 over Kristi McVey.
Bogle and Lynch combined to beat Clara Rexing and her sister Kristi 8-2 in No. 1 doubles. OCU's Malin and McKinney defeated Arielle Mobley and Alissa Richards 8-3.
On Saturday morning, KWC posted a 6-3 victory over the Pioneers. Augustynski won No. 1 singles over Kelsey Fulkerson 6-3, 6-3. Settle remained perfect with a 6-0, 6-0 scored at No. 2 singles against Sarah Ridley. Brown won No. 3 singles with a 6-3, 6-3 finish over Kaitlyn Hizny.
Bogle defeated Andrea Mong 6-1, 6-1 at the No. 4 position. Transy's Abby Newcom won over Richards 6-2, 6-1 in No. 5 singles. KWC's Alycia Lynch beat Kathy Shewmaker 6-4, 6-1 at No. 6 singles.
The Pioneers' Katie Boone and Fulkerson defeated Augustynska and Brown in No. 1 doubles 9-7. The Panthers' Bogle and Settle captured the No. 2 flight with an 8-2 score over Mong and Townsend. TU's Hizny and Katie Moore defeated Lynch and Mobley in No. 3 doubles 8-4.
