Kentucky Wesleyan fell to Northern Kentucky 3-0 in opening Great Lakes Valley Conference play at Highland Heights on Friday night. The Norse (9-5, 1-0) won 25-11, 25-15 and 25-14.

The Panthers (0-9, 0-1) were led by Emily Harpenau with an 46.2 attack percentage and seven kills and Sarah Pedigo with 11 assists, three digs and two block assists. Defensive Morgan Watson led in digs with six.
