Kentucky Wesleyan participated in the two-day, three-match University of Charleston Invitational in West Virginia on Friday and Saturday.

The Panthers on Friday morning fell to host Charleston 17-25, 16-25, 10-25. Emily Harpenau  led  KWC with seven kills and Rebecca Grayson produced nine assists while Michelle Hatfield recorded 13 digs.

KWC bounced back later Friday afternoon for a very close four-set match against Concord University where they lost 25-18, 22-25, 23-25 and 23-25. MaryBeth Ryan and Harpenau collected 13 and 10 kills respectfully. Ashley Hasting and Grayson combined for 25 assists.  Grayson also led with 14  digs followed by Lauren Wallace's 13 and Hatfield's 12.

On Saturday morning, the Panthers once again had a very close match with Glenville State. The Pioneers won 20-25, 17-25 and 25-27. Ryan led with five kills and Hastings five assists along with Haley Chrzatowski and Hatfield's eight digs.
