Volleyball competed at the second annual Ascis Great Lakes Valley Conference-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Cross-Over Tournament on Friday and Saturday at the Aim High Sports Complex in Lansing, Mich.
The Panthers faced thee GLIAC foes, Findlay (L, 3-0; 19-25, 13-25, 15-25) and Tiffin (L, 3-0; 16-25, 20-25, 20-25) on Friday, and Ohio Dominican (L, 3-1; 25-19, 17-25, 13-25, 17-25) on Saturday.
MaryBeth Ryan led KWC with 24 kills, five total blocks and two service aces in 10 games. Ashley Clever added 18 kills, four total blocks, 17 digs and two service aces in 10 contests.
Emily Harpenau in nine appearances recorded 17 kills, two blocks and two assists. Hanna York posted 13 kills and two blocks.
Rebecca Grayson produced a team-high 59 assists plus 19 digs in 10 games. Ashley Hasting posted 13 assists. Defensively Michelle Hatfield led the Panthers with 34 digs and seven service aces.
The Panthers host Bethel (Tenn.) on Tuesday at Jones Gym and the Woodward Health and Recreation Center at 6 p.m.
