Kingsley was a heralded baseball player for the Panthers from 1958-1961 and served the Department of Athletics in various capacities. He was named the department's business manager in 2011 and was twice named the President of the All-American Club. Kingsley served as an Assistant Director of Athletics until his passing in 2016.
A native of Louisville, Ky., Kingsley received his Bachelors Degree from Kentucky Wesleyan in 1961 and went on to earn his Master's Degree from Western Kentucky University. He was a teacher and football coach at Daviess County Junior High School and Daviess County High School as well as a retail business owner. He was the recipient of the Cecil Triplett All-American Club award in 2001 and earned the Kentucky Wesleyan College Alumni Service Award in 2012.
