Cason was a 1983 All-Great Lakes Valley Conference First Team selection and was named to the GLVC All-Tournament team that same year. She ranks third in KWC history in career points (1,532), scoring average (16.3), and field goals (616), fifth in career rebounds (688), sixth in career assists (360) and rebounding average (6.0), eighth in career free throws (300), ninth in career assist average (3.6), and holds the single game assist record (15).
