A member of the Class of 2006, Brooks led the Kentucky Wesleyan Baseball team to three-straight Great Lake Valley Conference tournaments ('03, '04, '05). In 2003, Brooks was named the GLVC Freshman of the Year and brought home the first of two career First-Team All-GLVC selections.
His freshman campaign also saw him named to the America Baseball Coaches Association All-Region team, the first Panther to be named ABCA All-Region in program history. He was also named ABCA All-Region after his junior season and still stands as the only Panther to be a two-time ABCA All-Region selection in Wesleyan baseball history.
Brooks holds all seven career pitching records at Kentucky Wesleyan including most wins (27), most appearances (53), most games started (48), most complete games (25), most shutouts (8), most innings pitched (338) and most strikeouts (252).
Brooks currently resides in Owensboro, Ky. where he is an Assistant Principal at East View Elementary School.
