Box Score Kentucky Wesleyan racked up 642 yards in total offense, the second-most in Panther history, to sail past visiting Faith on Saturday afternoon at Steele Stadium for their third straight victory.
Dalton Oliver threw for 360 yards and four touchdowns by completing 23 of 38 passes and two interceptions plus ran for a touchdown.
Keelan Cole caught 10 passes for 220 yards and three touchdowns.
Xavier Mitchell caught eight passes for 118 yards and one touchdown.
Myles Walker rushed for 127 yards on 11 carries.
The Panthers started their scoring spree on a 63-yard pass from Oliver to Cole with 3:42 left in the first quarter for a 7-0 lead. Mitchell caught a 20-yard pass from Olive for the second score to extend the lead to 14-0 with 9:47 in the second. Faith came back with a 29-yard field goal by Brian Grace. Amad Mitchell closed the half with a 24-yard run for a 19-3 advantage.
Oliver opened the third quarter with a seven-yard run with 9:34 left. Two minutes later Shaquille Speights scored on a five-yard run to cut the Panthers lead to 26-10. Cole then caught a 14-yard pass for his second touchdown day of the day early in the fourth quarter. He followed 11 minutes later with his final touchdown on a 28-yard recpetion. Dyan Bird finished the game with a 11-yard run for the final score.
KWC (3-2) rushed for 360 yards and passed for 360 while the Panthers held Faith (0-5) to -35 yards rushing and 166 yards passing.
The Panthers travel to Lake Wales, Fla., next Saturday to play Warner.
