Basketball Hall of Fame and Louisville coach Rick Pitino will sign copies of his new book "The One-Day Contract" on Thursday, Oct. 24, at Kentucky Wesleyan College's Health and Recreation Center and Jones Gymnasium.
Pitino will only sign copies of his new book. The book signing will begin when he arrives on campus between 6 and 6:45 p.m. This is his first book signing in Owensboro.
Books will be available for purchase in the lobby of the Woodward Health and Recreation Center beginning at 5 p.m., through Books-A-Million.
Released on Oct. 1, "The One-Day Contract: How to Add Value to Every Minute of Your Life" takes the reader full-circle to being the most creative and successful person and professional one can be. It draws on examples from coaching as well as off the court in everyday life.
KWC will also be selling tickets to the exhibition contest between the eight-time NCAA Division II Champion Panthers and the defending 2013 NCAA Champion Cardinals, both preseason ranked No. 3, at the Yum Center on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 6 p.m. CT.
