Katy Kruse knocked in three RBIs to lead the Panthers to a 7-1 win in the opening contest. KWC scored two runs in the second and five in the sixth.
 
Ashley Crooke, Meagan Sallee and Kyli Smithson combined for six of the Panthers 11 hits by producing two hits each. Crooke, Josalyn Ress and Traci Sanders also collected doubles.
 
Ashley Winstead earned her seventh win of the season after throwing a one-hit shutout and striking out 11 in five innings.
 
Jordan Vertz recorded the save with a 2-1 lead in the final two innings where she had one strikeout and gave up the Oaks only run in the sixth.
 
In the second game, Crooke went 4-for-4 at the plate, scored two runs and had two RBIs in guiding KWC to a 7-2 victory. Kayla Meny produced two RBIs while Angie Camp, Ress and Sanders added one each.
 
Sanders also posted two hits. Camp, Crooke and Katy Kruse each scored two runs.
 
Ress captured her second win with four strikeouts, five hits and two runs in five innings pitched. Kayla Meny closed the last two inning with one strikeout.

KWC (15-23) returns to Great Lakes Valley Conference play at Bellarmine on Saturday at noon ET, and at Northern Kentucky on Sunday at noon ET.
