Kentucky Wesleyan lost a twin bill to No. 2 ranked Indianapolis on Sunday afternoon.
The Panthers could only munster two hits in the opener as the Greyounds won 4-0.
Ashlee Winstead struck out eight in pitching a complete game.
In the second contest,
Meagan Sallee collected three hits and scored a run while
Kayla Meny and Traci Sander recorded a RBI each in the 9-2 loss.
Katy Kruse also added two hits and a run.
The Panthers fell behind 4-0 before scoring the two runs in the bottom of the third. UIndy added two in the sixth and three in the seventh.
Meny also pitched a complete game with four strikeouts.
KWC (19, 20-12 GLVC) plays at cross-town rival Brescia for a 6 p.m. doubleheader on Wednesday, April 4.
