The Kentucky Wesleyan College women's basketball team couldn't do much with Jadee Rooney, who poured in 29 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead Wisconsin-Parkside to an 83-69 win on Saturday in a Great Lakes Valley Conference game at the Sportscenter.

Lauren Goffinet led the Panthers (13-10, 7-8) with 17 points. Meika Smith added 12 and Karly Rhoads finished with 11.

T'Essence Phelps also grabbed nine rebounds for KWC.

Brittany Beyer added 20 points for the Rangers (19-4, 12-3).

Parkside shot 47.8 percent from the field, 32-for-67, and were 13-of-16 at the free-throw line for 81.3 percent.

KWC was hurt by 22 turnovers. The Panthers shot 45.8 percent, 27-for-59, and were 9-for-13 at the line for 69.2 percent.

They were outrebounded 37-34.

KWC hosts Northern Kentucky on Thursday night at 5:15.
