Freshman Annie Elder (Owensboro, Ky./Daviess County HS) scored Kentucky Wesleyan's  only goal from an assist from freshman Paige Kramer (Owensboro/Daviess County HS) at the 17th minute mark as the Panthers beat visiting Saint Joseph's 1-0 on Friday afternoon.

Freshman Katie Stewart (Mt. Washington, Ky./Bullitt East HS) recorded her first collegiate shutout win as she collected three saves all late in the contest.

Both the Panthers and Pumas (2-7, 1-6 GLVC) had 14 shots apiece.

KWC (1-6, 1-6) host Indianapolis on Sunday at 2:30.
