The Kentucky Wesleyan College baseball team went 1-3 against Saint Joseph's last weekend in Rensselaer, Ind.

The Panthers fell 3-10 and 14-4 in a doubleheader Friday, then dropped the opener of Sunday's twin bill 9-4 before bouncing back to take the nightcap 17-5.

In Friday's opener, the Panthers' Jordan White went 3-for-5 with three runs batted in. Tim Wimsatt hit his fourth homer. In the nightcap, White went 2-for-2 and Luke Garmon 2-for-3.

On Sunday, Garmon, Mike Finigan and Scott Redding each went 2-for-4 in the opener.

Finigan went 4-for-6 with three runs scored in the nightcap, and White went 2-for-6 -- including a home run -- with five RBIs and two runs scored. Chaz Simpson (2-1) earned the win.

KWC is 14-17 overall, 6-9 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Saint Joseph's is 13-10, 7-5.
