Kentucky Wesleyan College got strong pitching in a doubleheader sweep of visiting Asbury College on Thursday at Panther Park.

In the opener, Jake Anderson surrendered just four hits as the Panthers clubbed Asbury, 8-2.

Pacing KWC's 11-hit attack was Scott Woodburn, who went 3-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI. Jordan White went 2-for-4 and drove in three runs, and Mike Finigan and Alex LaGreca each added two hits.

In the nightcap, Josh Keehan surrendered just five hits as Wesleyan won, 2-0.

Lincoln Talley and Davey Murphy drove home the lone runs of the game. Heath Wright and Woodburn each had two hits.
