Katlyn Smith scored the game-winning goal on a direct kick at the 61:11 mark to lead the Panthers to their second Great Lakes Valley Conference win of the season on Friday afternoon at Panther Field.
KWC's Nora Karvonen opened the game with an unassisted goal 12 minutes into the game. Lewis (2-5-2, 1-4-1) bounced back with a goal by Allison Schieffer shortly after halftime at the 47 minute mark.
The Panthers (4-4-1, 2-4-0) had seven shots-on-goal to the Flyers five. KWC goalkeeper Alanna Miller collected four saves.
